Getting Started
Most agents are fully contracted and appointed within 48 hours of submitting a complete application. Complex cases involving background disclosures or missing E&O documentation may take 3–5 business days.
No. Contracting is completely free. We earn overrides from carriers — your commission rates are not reduced. Full commission schedules are disclosed before you sign anything.
No production minimums are required to maintain your contracts. We believe agents should write business at their own pace without pressure from their FMO.
In most cases, yes. If you already hold direct contracts with carriers, we can often layer our wholesale access on top. Contact our contracting team to review your specific situation.
Commissions & Payments
Commission payment schedules vary by carrier — most pay monthly, some pay weekly. ContractorBridge passes commissions through within 5 business days of receipt from the carrier.
Commission statements are available in the Administration Dashboard under the Commissions tab. Statements are posted within 3 business days of carrier payment.
Our carrier relations team will advocate on your behalf. Submit a commission dispute via email to [email protected] with the policy number, carrier, and expected amount.
Compliance & Licensing
All contracted agents must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence / $3,000,000 aggregate Errors & Omissions coverage. Proof of coverage must be submitted at contracting and renewed annually.
Medicare-related certifications (AHIP, carrier-specific) must be completed annually before writing Medicare business. We provide links to all required certification portals in your agent portal.
You can write business in any state where you hold an active resident or non-resident license. ContractorBridge supports appointments in all 50 states. State license verification is part of the contracting process.
As a CMS-registered FMO, we are responsible for ensuring all Medicare marketing activities comply with CMS guidelines. We provide training, scripts, and oversight to keep agents compliant. Violations may result in contract suspension.
Downline & Overrides
Yes. Qualified agents can recruit and manage sub-agents under their hierarchy. Override commissions are paid on downline production. Contact our contracting team to discuss downline eligibility.
Override rates vary by carrier and product line. Full override schedules are provided to qualifying agents. Overrides are paid on the production of all agents in your downline, including sub-tiers.
